As part of the approach Eau et Paysage led by the Nantes Saint-Nazaire Metropolitan Pole, a development project for the Loire estuary has been underway since 2017. This project includes five semaphores designed by artist Vincent Mauger and placed along the Loire River.
Serving as a viewpoint, these works invite viewers to discover the vast landscape through the orientation tables I have created. The layout and treatment of the vegetation give rhythm to the illustrations in a style similar to the engravings historically used on these orientation tables.
